What the site code uses
The HTML, stylesheet and script for this edition contain no advertising technology, analytics tracking, third-party embeds or cookie-setting code. The script does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or a service worker. Navigation state and report contents are held only in the current page’s memory while it is open.
This statement describes the site’s own code. Hosting, security infrastructure or a separately supplied consent interface can have their own storage behaviour. Any additional technology introduced by the deployed service should be described in its accompanying notice before optional processing begins.
Cookies are not the same as cached files
A cookie is a small value a website or server can ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Browser caching instead keeps copies of public resources such as images, pages and stylesheets to reduce repeated downloads. Your browser may cache this site in the ordinary course of displaying it.
Network requests also disclose technical information to the hosting infrastructure. A lack of cookies does not mean that no network information is processed. See the Workshop Data Policy for the distinction between browser-local actions and server-side request handling.
| Feature | Purpose | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Page memory | Menu state and generated report | No site-managed persistence after the page session |
| Clipboard | Copy a report after your click | Controlled by your device and clipboard settings |
| Downloaded text file | Save a report after your click | Remains until you or your device remove it |
| Browser cache | Load public website resources efficiently | Controlled by browser and server caching rules |
Your controls
You can manage cookies, cached resources, permissions and form-history features through your browser settings. Blocking clipboard access does not prevent you from reading a report; the tool will offer selected text for manual copying if automatic copying is unavailable. Downloads are initiated only when you select the download button.
Clearing the report removes its current contents from the page but does not erase clipboard history or downloaded files. Browsers can also restore tabs and form values independently. Use your browser’s privacy controls and remove local files when working on a shared device.
Optional processing and changes
No optional analytics or marketing storage is required by this edition’s functionality. If a deployed version adds optional storage, its purpose, provider, duration and consent controls should be disclosed before use where required by law. Refusing optional storage should not disable the core reading and report features described here.
